This template is used for definition lines of German verb forms.

It takes four parameters:

{{de-verb form of|1|2|3|4}}
  • The first parameter is the infinitive.
  • The second parameter is the person. Accepted values:
    • 1 for the first person
    • 2 for the second person
    • 3 for the third person
    • pr for the present participle
    • pp for the past participle
    • i for the imperative
    • NOTE: If it's either the present or past participle, parameters 3 and 4 are unnecessary, for the imperative parameter 4 is unnecessary.
  • The third parameter indicates the number. Acceptable values:
    • s for singular
    • p for plural
  • The fourth parameter indicates the tense. Accepted values:
    • g (Gegenwart, present tense)
    • v (Vergangenheit, past tense)
    • k1 (Konjunktiv I, subjunctive I)
    • k2 (Konjunktiv II, subjunctive II).
  • If the fifth parameter is present, it will indicate that the form is a subordinate clause form.

If any of these parameters is missing the entry will be automatically sorted in Category:German terms needing attention.
