From the root غ ز و (ḡ-z-w).

Verb

غَزَا (ḡazā) I, non-past يَغْزُو‎ (yaḡzū)

  1. (obsolete) to seek, to desire
  2. to raid, to foray, to betake oneself to wage war against, to attack

Usage note
