Etymology
According to Beekes, the word is not related to Thessalian place names Γόννος (Gónnos), Γόννοι (Gónnoi) and Γονοῦσσα (Gonoûssa), nor to γόνυ (gónu, “knee”), and is instead Lua error in Module:parameters at line 360: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "pregrc" is not valid.
