From Tagalog butsi / butse, possibly from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 360: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "nan-hok" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. or a similar cognate, or Spanish buche (gulp a mouthful). Compare Cebuano butsi (Jian dui), Tagalog matse (Mache), Cebuano masi (Masi), Kapampangan motsi (Moche).
