Noun
sibia (plural sibias)
- Any timaliid bird of the genus Heterophasia.
Usage notes
Some consider the genus to be monotypic, allowing it only Heterophasia picaoides (long-tailed sibia) and placing the other sibias in Malacias. More commonly, seven species are placed in Heterophasia.
