From Old Galician and Old Galician-Portuguese, from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 360: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "qfa-sub-ibe" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. *calap(p)acu, perhaps related to the etymon of cabaza. Cognate with Portuguese cágado (turtle), Spanish galápago (turtle) and Catalan calàpet (toad).[1]
