Etymology

From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Hebrew אָחָז (acház, owns), a contraction of יְהוֹאָחָז (yeho'acház, Jah has held). Attested to in Akkadian as 𒅀𒌑𒄩𒍣 (Iaúḥazi).
