English words that may be spelled with two ligatures

[edit]

The wording of this appendix's name specifically precludes at least the English terms Ægæan and amœbæ since they are spelled with more than just “a ligature”. It seems we have the options of renaming the appendix or creating a new tiny spinoff as we did for some of the “diacritic” categories. — hippietrail 08:50, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think the appendix should just be renamed. Appendix:English words that may be spelled with ligatures. bd2412 T 17:14, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I agree with bd2412’s proposed new name; however, a Category:English words spelled with two ligatures would be good, to keep in one place all those rare instances of multiply-ligated words.  (u):Raifʻhār (t):Doremítzwr﴿ 19:03, 19 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
