The dot is how you spell a pause or /ʔ/ (glottal stop) in Lojban. A letteral (Lojban: lerfu) is a letter of the alphabet (as distinguished from a letter, which may be a note you write to someone)[1], which in this context is slightly incorrect; it should say "lerfu word for e" or at least "name of the letteral e" (or "letter e", to remove lojbanisms from it altogether) . —Muke Tever 20:43, 11 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
