Sources missing

[edit]

Regrettably, the main author gives no sources, which is extremely unscholarly and makes the entries uncontrollable. Moreover, the links regularly do NOT LEAD TO TOCHARIAN entries, let alone, etymologies. Thus, everybody must be warned to use this list at all.HJJHolm (talk) 10:00, 3 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

That (for one reason) is because we don't have a lot of Tocharian entries, though I believe we do allow Tocharian in Latin script. As for the author, Ivan Stambuk has been known to get it wrong. And whatever his source is, that too could be wrong, not all that much is known about Tocharian so even the most authoritative source in the world isn't necessarily all that accurate. There are a lot of fine sources, e.g. Adams, and Malzahn 2010 for verbs as a top reliable source, even available online! Further, most of the links are empty, or lead to false entries. HJJHolm 195.4.79.56 06:33, 15 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Uhm, what entries are "false" ? --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 10:11, 15 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
