Is it an appropriate name? Should it be moved to Category:Russian class 7°b verbs, which indicates "pattern b and variant °"? --TongcyDai (talk) 14:07, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Benwing2, Tetromino, TongcyDai, Thadh: Possibly, I am not sure. I don't know how this subclass got created, since these verbs are irregular and the conjugation table uses |irreg=. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:37, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Atitarev, Tetromino, TongcyDai, Thadh: The * is Zaliznyak's notation, and indicates that there's an alternation between -о- and nothing, e.g. распере́ть (rasperétʹ) vs. present tense разопру́ (razoprú). This occurs at least in classes 7, 9 and 11. Zaliznyak uses ° only for classes 3 and 6, and it indicates more fundamental variations. The reason why расче́сть (rasčéstʹ) gets 7*b is that the verb module internally classifies certain irregular verbs according to the closest regular verb class, following Zaliznyak. However, the existence of Category:Russian class 7*b verbs is a mistake; it should be merged into Category:Russian class 7b verbs, as happens with classes 9*b, 11*b, etc. Benwing2 (talk) 03:09, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Is it gone now. Benwing2 (talk) 03:21, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
