Blend of Durham +‎ Oxford +‎ Cambridge, by analogy with Oxbridge.

  1. (rare) The universities of Oxford, the Cambridge and Durham collectively.
  2. An annual five-day sports tournament held in March in Dublin involving colleges of the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, the Durham University and the University of York.
