Dumfries and Galloway

  1. A council area of Scotland, one of 32 created in 1996, formerly a region created in 1975 from the counties of Dumfriesshire, Kirkcudbrightshire and Wigtownshire.
  2. The UK Parliament constituency, which, despite its name, does not cover the whole of the Dumfries and Galloway council area.
