From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Latin Aethiops, (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek Αἰθίοψ (Aithíops, charred complexion), from αἴθω (aíthō, I burn) + ὤψ (ṓps, eye, face, complexion).
