English[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From hetero (short for heterosexual) + translingual Homo sapiens, as if Homo (taxonomic genus within the family Hominidae) were short for homosexual, while in truth it derives from Latin homō (human being, man).

Proper noun[edit]
