Etymology

A variant of the Wade-Giles romanization (Man-chou-kuo) of the (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Mandarin pronunciation of Chinese 滿洲國满洲国 (Mǎnzhōuguó), from Japanese 満州国 (Manshūkoku), under influence from Manchu.
