I was told by a native who specialises in Potts-era Shanghainese that it’s an archaic perfective aspect marker, but I’ve checked the Potts textbook I have and I can’t find any mentions of it being used in this way. I’ll remove it, apologies. Fluoromethyl (talk) 20:11, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
