- (obsolete) A taxonomic class within the kingdom Plantae – a polyphyletic taxon comprising all monandrous plants (those having only one stamen in each flower).

[edit]This taxon was erected by Carl Linnaeus as an aid in classification, but was not intended to represent a natural grouping.
