  1. A traditional Egyptian dessert resembling bread pudding, typically made with layers of puff pastry or phyllo dough, milk, nuts (such as almonds, pistachios, or hazelnuts), and sometimes raisins or coconut. It is baked until golden and served warm, often garnished with additional nuts, powdered sugar, or whipped cream.
