Etymology

Pakpak +‎ Bharat, the former is the name of a Batak ethnic subgroup. The latter is the native name of India, borrowed from Hindi भारत (bhārat), ultimately from Sanskrit भारत (bhārata); possibly added to reflect the mixed Indian origins of the Pakpaks.
