Also compared to Azerbaijani üfləmək (to blow), Gagauz üflemää (to blow), Turkish and Turkmen üflemek (to blow); Azerbaijani üfürmək (to blow), Turkish üfürmek (to blow) from Ottoman Turkish اورمك (üvürmek).[1] However, this can also be descended from another roots such as Proto-Oghuz *übür- and *üble- (<*üb for both). If they are related, *übür- and *ǖr- are doublets.
