Does someone know where does Lithuanian leisti come from, found also in Lithuanian nusileisti (descend) and is it cognate with other words? It sounds phonetically simillar to Proto-Slavic *lě̀zti. The problem is it differs with meaning. Per Google Translate it means "let, allow". Ентусиастъ (talk) 13:07, 13 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

NVM, it comes from Proto-Indo-European *leh₁d-. Ентусиастъ (talk) 13:12, 13 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
