West (and North) Germanic languages tended to level the Verner's form, presumably because the Verner's form appeared far more often; as in compounds (eg. *mundaburdiz), and non-root-stressed derivatives (eg. *burdīgaz). Anglom (talk) 03:35, 25 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
