It's not rare for a change in gender to occur in one Descendant vs. the others. If one is an outlier, as OE is in this case, I usu put it on the other page, and make a note that it comes from the alt form. No sense in having this entry when the other will do right ? @Rua A lot of sources seem to think this is from Proto-Indo-European *ǵʰelh₃-. I noticed that someone tried to add that here but you reverted it. Does it not work? Djkcel (talk) 13:32, 26 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
