Cyrillic spelling with jat is a transliteration of Glagolitic attestation with jat from Euchologium Sinaiticum. Glagolitic jat = [je] after hard consonants, and [ja] word-initially and after vowels and palatals (such as nj here). --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 20:32, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
