capital letter in Template:given name

[edit]

@Sarri.greek Hi. I haven't changed {{given name}} recently; it always has produced a capital letter except when you use |A=a. But note that I renamed {{el-mono-of}} to {{el-mono of}} and {{el-poly-of}} to {{el-poly of}} for consistency wiith other similarly named templates. Benwing2 (talk) 15:24, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes, thank you @Benwing2. I was just stratled when i added nocap=1 and I got error (at given name). Then, I saw A=a as a solution. (I thought, nocap, notext, nodot etc are global).
And thank you for your corrections at polytonic-monotonic (they were tests, and I am now reviewsing some of them. Because practically anything or two thirds of all Modern Greek can be written in polyonic, and all Ancient can be written in monotonic (often does). So, I keep it strictly for some old expressions. Thank you for your efforts. ‑‑Sarri.greek  I 15:28, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
+ I was under the impression that all glossae and non-gloss at en.wiktionary start with lowercase, and no full stop (unless a word is truly written with capital, we do not write capitals) ‑‑Sarri.greek  I 15:31, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
