I am using Babiniotis as a reference, I go by what he lists as the correct... except in the forms where he is being "hypercorrect" and most people don't... eg he uses καθοίκι for καθίκι, even though the latter is more used than the former Rossyxan (talk) 16:24, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again @Rossyxan. hAAaa He writes καθοίκι? He does? well... I have Babiniotis 2002, but I respect a bit more DSMG, (Thessaloniki University professors have always been good and progressive). ANDDD it is online!!!! so easy. So, I like to show the readers, the source. The etymologies at DSGM were made by Evangelos Petrounias. I have a linke for Babiniotis here) but we cannot show it :( sarri.greek (talk) 16:38, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Sarri.greek It's exactly why I ignore these cases and just give the more common form as the entry and give that dictionary's "correct" form as an alternative.
