IPA seems off[edit]

@Kiril kovachev I believe this is actually pronounced /adz-/ as opposed to /ats-/, but I'm not 100% sure - the current pronunciation just sounds off. I've found a few YouTube videos such as this one in which people say the word, but even when I slow it down it isn't crystal clear how they're saying it; it doesn't sound like /ats-/ to me though. Maybe you can hear it better? Chernorizets (talk) 06:12, 3 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Chernorizets I know, I thought so too, but then I remembered our previous discussion about similar observations about other words and decided I'd stay away from changing anything - but now that you mention it let's investigate it... I found I agree, it did sound more like /adz-/ to me. I thought when I was entering it that /ats-/ seems kind of plausible, and since I'd never spoken this word out before, it might well be right, but this seems more right to me too.
The video has a lot of constant noise, so it's a little hard to be super certain, but I think changing it would be best here. Should it be [ɐdˈzɔrpt͡sijɐ] or [ɐˈdzɔrpt͡sijɐ], do you think? Kiril kovachev (talkcontribs) 21:16, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
