Brown, Guldrelokk, Fay Freak, Tetromino, Per utramque cavernam): Avanesov claims that меж- is essentially always stressed, and that it's pronounced [мѐш] before approximants and before [в]. Stressed like in “secondary stress”? Yes. Which means меж does not suffer vowel reduction. But maybe this is only my idiolect. Fay Freak (talk) 10:59, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
