- @Atitarev Is every instance of гч pronounced consistently with х? This includes легче, мягче, облегчать, облегчить, облегчение, смягчать, смягчить, смягчение, also отягчать and отягчить if it exists. Alternatively, I could just make легч/лёгч, мягч have хч in it, and handle отягчать manually if needed. Benwing2 (talk) 12:13, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- Only applies to roots легч/лёгч, мягч but less straightforward than легк/лёгк, мягк. (легк/лёгк, мягк have invariably [x]. With гч group, [x] is standard and common but [k] is possible. We can adopt the same approach as with selected гк roots, always use [x] in transliterations and pronunciations). For other cases of the devoiced "г", e.g. отягчать, [x] would be less standard or dialectal. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 12:27, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
