@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha, KoreanQuoter As a noun, does this mean "the following"? If so, is it a synonym of следующее or is there a difference? A subtle difference is in some usage, which is a bit hard to explain. The aspect doesn't make any difference here. "следующее" is more common and has more usage than "последующее". For example, "следующее" can be used in the sense "the following" as "this". E.g. Запомни следующее. Он сказал следующее. - Remember the following (this, what I'm going to tell you). He said the following (this). "последующее" has a narrower sense - subsequent, what follows after.
