@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha, Per utramque cavernam Please help ... there are three pairs of verbs: провёртывать (provjórtyvatʹ)/проверну́ть (provernútʹ), провора́чивать (provoráčivatʹ)/провороти́ть (provorotítʹ), прове́рчивать (provérčivatʹ)/проверте́ть (provertétʹ). They appear mostly synonymous and seem to differ primarily in register, but various dictionaries differ significantly in which definitions belong to which verbs, what the register of the various verbs is, and which verbs are aspectual pairs of which other verbs. What we have here is a guess based on comparing various dictionaries. Any native-speaker insight would be appreciated. Benwing2 (talk) 01:41, 20 April 2018 (UTC)

@Benwing2: Hi. The current pairs (impf/pf) are correct. The definitions are fine too. The subtleties of meaning differences are hard to define with a 100% of accuracy or completeness. --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 01:27, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
