I am not sure the etymology is correct. It seems to rather come from *seh₁-. --Fsojic (talk) 16:55, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Adverbial form

[edit]

The historical and poetic adverbial participle in present tense сеючи (sejuči) is missed, even though it's almost never used in modern Russian. However, it can be found in the Russian National Corpus. --91.79.227.114 21:01, 27 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

@91.79.227.114 I have added to the obsolete form. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 05:41, 28 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing2 I found an article about the use of the adverbs/participles formed from the (mostly) dated participle ending "-учи"/"-ючи"[1]. Many forms survived in the modern Russian as adverbs or in set expressions - жить припеваючи, долго ли умеючи?, играючи, etc. (Notifying Benwing2, Cinemantique, Useigor, Wikitiki89, Guldrelokk, Fay Freak, Tetromino, Canonicalization): . I've just added a few forms to conjugation forms and some as as entries. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 06:16, 28 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
