I have checked this word ("хьэбадзэ") in several dictionaries but I couldn't find it. Is it a word only used by the Circassians in Israel? — This unsigned comment was added by ErkanOkay (talkcontribs) at 20:18, 13 April 2022‎.

Not sure if this helps, but it is likely from хьэ (ḥɛ, dog) + бадзэ (badzɛ, fly), perhaps named in reference to the fact that dogs often get fleas. I suggest you take the entry to WT:RFV, though, if you think the word is unattested. 70.172.194.25 06:08, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
хьэбадз (ḥɛbadz) without -э is in Гиш Н. Т., Словарь названий животных, 1990, page 179, glossed as муха (muxa). Vahag (talk) 18:43, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your interest. So it means "fly" not "flea" ErkanOkay (talk) 16:26, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Compare dog fly for the formation. Vahag (talk) 16:39, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What I'm trying to say is хьэбадзэ doesn't mean "flea" as given here. ErkanOkay (talk) 16:44, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't mean "flea". The IP above probably mistyped "fly". Vahag (talk) 21:52, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
