@Vahagn Petrosyan Hi. I know that this is a different surname, but what about this case ? It's it an "americanised" shortened version of Geozukuchukian ? A derived term, then ? (this scecific one). I suspect via French (Kutchukian is found in France, and this lady went to the States from Larnaca, Cyprus via France. Chalk19 (talk) 16:16, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Chalk19: we document the history of surnames here, not of people. She did not create the surname Kutchukian from Geozekuchukian. She changed her surname to an already existing, shorter, more euphonic one. Kutchukian can be listed under Քուչուկյան (Kʻučʻukyan). Vahag (talk) 18:07, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
