Why is this verb, ելնել, plain -ել conjugation?

Why is this verb, ելնել, assigned plain -ել conjugation? Ведь its aorist 1st person singular is ելա․․․ which would be the sign of suffixed -նել conjugation.

I have to open to conjugation and look at the aorist stem to find out (does the aorist stem include -ն- կամ -չ-, թե ոչ)

(and why do armenian dictionaries very generally not give the aorist of verbs ending in -չել -նել? as such verbs can be either suffixed or plain conjugation rule. It doesn't matter whether the opposite language is russian, french or english) 77.56.145.145 01:31, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

@77.56.145.145: we are experiencing temporary problems with displaying the "plain" / "suffixed" tag. We are working on fixing them.

The aorist is shown in some dictionaries, for example {{R:hy:ŽHLBB}}, {{R:hy:Aghayan}} and {{R:hy:Galstyan}}. It is rarely shown in bilingual dictionaries because those are meant for Armenians doing translation; they already know how to conjugate the verb. Vahag (talk) 09:50, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
