@Vahagn Petrosyan it's pretty cool how you guys are using (what I guess is) a Russian declension O_O. Do you think this counts as a declension though? @Hovsepig: it's not Russian. It's dialectal and purely Armenian. Compare the colloquial declension of non-Russian երեխա (erexa) and see the etymology section of (-kʻ) for the explanation of the plural. The rest of the paradigm is also native. In general, I don't think Russian or any other modern language has had influence on the inflection paradigm of Eastern Armenian. The colloquial switching of ակնոց (aknocʻ), մկրատ (mkrat) and the like to pluralia tantum is the only thing I can think of. Vahag (talk) 17:16, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
