@Calak, the base form is մասուր (masur), widespread in the dialects in various forms, and not the clear inner-Armenian derivative մասրենի (masreni). The base form is not similar to Persian. Ačaṙean compares մասուր (masur) with Kurdish masur ‘swelling’, typologically comparing թութք (tʻutʻkʻ). --Vahag (talk) 16:31, 18 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
