@Wikitiki89 Re: this diff -- are you sure? Milog has a segol, though Morfix has a zere. Tbh I should probably know this but am honestly not sure, as I'm not used to actually writing niqud, but I based my decision on the fact that יָפֶה has a segol. — Kleio (t · c) 02:52, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Milog is not a trustworthy source for niqud, they have a lot of mistakes. Morphix on the other hand is actually very trustworthy for niqud. Segol does not exist in unstressed short syllables, except in certain situations before gutturals and ר. And silent ה is not a guttural, but simply a mater lexionis. --WikiTiki89 03:02, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That makes sense, thanks. — Kleio (t · c) 03:05, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Wikitiki89 bothering you again, this time re: the template: seeing as יפיפיה (and indeed יפהפייה) are both accepted alternate spellings of the feminine form: is there a way to add multiple alternative forms into the template? Or should it just be listed under "Alternative forms" at the top of the entry? But then, these alternative forms I listed afaik only really apply to the feminine form. — Kleio (t · c) 03:26, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I hope the changes I made should cover that. --WikiTiki89 13:01, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again. I mostly learned this language through speaking it, and the more I edit these entries, especially with issues like niqud, the more I realize I never really thought a lot about the finer formal aspects of the language. Probably going to be adding more Hebrew entries (and be more careful about it), to cement my knowledge a bit. — Kleio (t · c) 15:07, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
