@Benwing I reckon language names, demonyms (nationalities) should be common nouns, not proper nouns in Arabic. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:01, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

- I think language names should be treated as common nouns, like in most languages. English and a small number of others are exceptions. Same with month, weekday names, no need to follow English on this. Language names don't have to be preceded by ال, colloquially - just adjectives are language names. --Anatoli T.
