@Metaknowledge, Fay Freak Is it possible that there was some confusion between زَنْجَبِيل (zanjabīl) and سِكَنْجَبِين (sikanjabīn) in the past? فين أخاي (talk) 09:18, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Fenakhay: On first glance I can name no reason against it. A curious observation: Ginger tastes like vinegar and honey? I have no mental picture about the widespreadness of ginger and oxymel respectively in the Arabic past however. Fay Freak (talk) 09:26, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
