- @Vahagn Petrosyan: Yes. As CAL lists it, and both pages reference each other on Wiktionary already, it is a derived term, from just assimilating the voiced pharyngeal fricative to make a geminate follow, ܡܷ̈ܙܶܐ (mezzē), the plural of ܡܶܙܬ݂ܳܐ (mezzəṯā) which precedes the singular. - @Vahagn Petrosyan: I see you are interested because evidently this is the exact form Old Armenian մազ (maz) is from. I note that in Bar Ali there are no vowels on it, but we have them in the Jewish Aramaic forms, which Brockelmann just took over and which are findable via the CAL link.
