@DerekWinters: Hello. Does this have a Gujarati descendant? I can see the first part of કંકાલતંત્ર (kaṅkāltantra) is a match; is it found only in composition? --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 21:32, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

- @Per utramque cavernam: કંકાળ (kaṅkāḷ) is the tatsam borrowing. Most Gujarati tatsams that have ल in non-onset position change the ल to ળ, similar to Marathi. DerekWinters (talk) 21:46, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
