@माधवपंडित: I think maybe because it's been secluded in the mountains, and was only ever written down in the 18th century. It never had much Persian/Arabic/English influence. Although I've heard that it's now being replaced by Hindi among the younger generation. It's a cool language, sad that it is endangered. —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 14:21, 12 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
