Sorry, but I'm confused

The automatic translation is still being fine-tuned, but yes, that last ô is very much pronounced. And the IPA is correct, it is pronounced like an /o/. If you see the Bengali phonology wiki page, you will notice that the inherent vowel, while generally constant in other Indic languages, shifts between /ɔ/ and /o/ in Bengali (and, depending on the spelling convention, sometimes for Assamese too). To be honest Bengali sucks because you can't predict almost anything without learning it. I'm benefitting from having very close native speaker friends from whom I've been learning for the last year. DerekWinters (talk) 23:30, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

(before edit conflict) The automatic transliteration is imperfect for shwa dropping and it can't be perfect where it can go either way, depending on the word. My guess is the final "'ô" is pronounced and the term requires manual transliteration. IPA is a more reliable guide, not the automatic transliteration. It was added by @DerekWinters - Bengali - level 2 according to Babel.
