@AryamanA: I had precisely this analogy in mind, and it bothers me for the exact same reason (I'm not alone in that respect). It practically cancels out the benefits of having merged Serb and Croatian in the first place.

I realise choosing one script over the other would look politically incorrect (as Crom Daba said) and awfully like POV-pushing, but duplicating content is even worse, in my view. --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 16:57, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
