@AryamanA: છે ને પણ? By the way, saying the sentence you said that way means something like, "Oh this is a Gujarati word too?". I think you were trying to ask, "Is this also a Gujarati word?", so it would be આ ગુજરાતી શબ્દ પણ છે ને? DerekWinters (talk) 05:23, 4 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
@DerekWinters: Right, I forgot શું (śũ) is not used the same way as क्या (kyā). What exactly does ને (ne) mean? —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 05:29, 4 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
@AryamanA: If you know any Japanese, the same as the sentence final particle ne in Japanese (which surprised me a lot). It kind of means "right?", or "isn't it?". A suggestive particle one might call it. Different from the ને which is the dative marker, and from the ને which is the locative of નું (રામને ત્યાં ગયો હતો|I had gone to Ram's (house/place)), and from the ને which is the short form of અને. They're all used quite differently so you won't get confused ever. DerekWinters (talk) 05:33, 4 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
@DerekWinters: Thanks! I *think* it might have some relation with (है) ना then. I don't know any Japanese but that's pretty neat lol. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 05:36, 4 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
