"this week"[edit]

@The dog2 Are you sure? I hear 只個禮拜 in this video (~ 8:22). — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 03:02, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Justinrleung: Go to 11:30 in that video. He says that both are used. The dog2 (talk) 03:05, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@The dog2: The tone is off. The first character should be some kind of word meaning "this". 潮·普双言语词典 writes it as 仯, but I don't think that's commonly used. I'm not sure which character to use. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 03:14, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Justinrleung: Since there's no alternative, I don't mind using 仯, but it looks like it doesn't appear in 潮州音字典. The dog2 (talk) 03:20, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@The dog2: I think 照 may be more common (like in 照生). I'm not sure if it's zio2 or zio3 though. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 03:23, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Justinrleung: It sounds closer to zio3 to me, but I may be wrong. The dog2 (talk) 03:27, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@The dog2: I don't think we should include it unless we have certainty in the first syllable (both in pronunciation and in writing). I'll take that definition out of this entry. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 03:38, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
