Pronunciation[edit]

@Wyang I think I've never heard the toneless pronunciation. May I ask where did you find this? Is this your pronunciation or something you've encountered in your daily life? Dokurrat (talk) 08:35, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Dokurrat: It refers to 重·次轻, which is the main pronunciation of this word used in normal and fast speech. Wyang (talk) 08:40, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Wyang: Erm, so, is this tonless pronunciation how you pronounce this word or you've encountered somewhere? (Maybe I failed to observe it in the daily life?) Dokurrat (talk) 06:21, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It's the main pronunciation used by the general Mainland population in normal-speed conversations, for example [1] (at 0:28). Wyang (talk) 06:28, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Wyang: I guess we have different delimitations of being toneless. I have no further question to ask. Thanks. Dokurrat (talk) 06:39, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There is a difference between 重·次轻 (as in here) and 重·最轻 (aka the prototypical tonelessness). Normal unreduced disyllabics should be 中·重. Wyang (talk) 06:47, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
