Alternate understanding

There is a widespread understanding in which the four dots are seen as the third type of water radical in the series of water radicals, namely 兩點水 三點水 and then 四點水. This understanding is etymologically unsound but is widespread. [1] --Geographyinitiative (talk) 01:15, 6 December 2019 (UTC)
